Medium 5.0
In plain English
A medium-severity server-side request forgery in the matomo package (Debian). Proof-of-concept exploit code is public. The chance it is exploited in the next 30 days is estimated at 0.3% (higher than 27% of all known vulnerabilities). Ready-made attack tooling exists: public proof-of-concept code.
Official description
An issue in Matomo v.5.11.2 allows a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information via the SiteContentDetector / SitesManager component. NOTE: the Supplier disputes the relevance of this report because the site administrator is a trusted party, and would not plausibly set main_url to a URL that offers additional information to an adversary.
