CVE-2026-15272Web 2.0 Directory <= 2.10.12 - Unauthenticated SQL Injection via 'w2dc_level_filter' Parameter
Medium 6.5
In plain English
A medium-severity SQL injection in Web 2.0 Directory plugin for WordPress from Shamalli. There are no confirmed reports of exploitation so far. The chance it is exploited in the next 30 days is estimated at 0.3% (higher than 25% of all known vulnerabilities).
Official description
The Web 2.0 Directory plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the 'w2dc_level_filter' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.10.12 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. Because the parameter is used in integer context without surrounding quotes, WordPress's built-in addslashes/magic_quotes escaping provides no protection against time-based payloads such as SLEEP-based conditionals.
